Who processes your data
The data controller is Libor Theimer, author and operator of www.theimer.cz. Contact: libor@theimer.cz, phone +420 776 584 667.
What is measured and why
To see which pages people read and how to improve the website, Google Analytics 4 (operated by Google) is used. Measuring happens only if you consent. It records:
- which pages you opened, in which language, for how long, and where you came from,
- device type, browser, operating system and approximate location (city or country),
- a random browser identifier stored in a cookie, which recognises a repeat visit.
Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. The data is used only for visit statistics. I do not use advertising features or link the data to advertising services, and I do not pass the data on to anyone.
Cookies
After you consent, these cookies are stored in your browser:
_ga: tells visitors apart, valid for 2 years,_ga_MMCHRJT15E: visit (session) state, valid for 2 years.
Without consent no analytics cookies are stored and nothing is sent to Google services. The website itself uses no other cookies. Your choice (consent or refusal) is remembered in your browser storage (localStorage) and is not sent anywhere.
Consent and how to withdraw it
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll.). Consent is voluntary and the website works the same without it. You can withdraw or give it again at any time; withdrawing deletes the Google Analytics cookies:
Transfers outside the EU and retention
After you consent, the data is processed by Google, which may transfer it to the USA under the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Data in Google Analytics is kept for at most 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and objection. For visit statistics I keep no data that would let me identify you directly, so requests can be met only to a limited extent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.gov.cz).
Messages and phone calls
When you write or call, I use your name, email or phone number only to reply and to arrange a project, and keep them for as long as needed to deal with your request and follow-up communication. I do not pass them on, except to my email provider and for accounting duties if the arrangement leads to a project.
Effective from 24 October 2026.
